2010 Holiday Lighting Ceremony

The City of Atascadero will be hosting the Holiday Lighting Ceremony at the Sunken Gardens on Friday December 3, 2010, beginning at 6 pm.

 

The Presenting Sponsor H & R Block, Santa Lucia Bank and Wysong construction are sponsoring The Holiday Lighting Ceremony which is free to the public and we encourage everyone to bring their family and friends to enjoy an evening of Holiday fun! The 2010 Holiday Lighting Ceremony will be solely funded by your generous donations. This year we will be setting up the Atascadero Main Street stage on Palma Ave in front of the City Administration Building and bringing in additional lighting. We are presently recruiting for performing groups & musicians. The Atascadero City Officials along with the public will join in to count down for the lighting of the trees in the Sunken Gardens. Enjoy the entertainment from the Atascadero Community Band and the Atascadero High School Show and Concert Choirs. The public will then be invited to visit Santa at the Christmas Castle located at 5990 Entrada Ave where hot chocolate will be served. The evening will also consist of the Atascadero Main Street Art and Wine Tour 5:30-8:30 pm. Enjoy wine, food, music and good fellowship with our friendly merchants, tour the art galleries, wine tasting, and meet the artists. Spend an evening walking around the Historic Colony District.
