The Project Team for the Atascadero Historic City Hall has prepared and issued a Request for Pre‐qualifications for the project’s flagship bid package, ACH‐8 Historic  Restoration. Due to the expertise and nuances of the conservation standards required to conform to the Secretary of Interior’s Standards for Historic Preservation with Guidelines for Applying Standards, it is essential to the project that all bidders have previous documentable experience on historic construction projects of similar stature. The Historic City Hall is the icon of the City of Atascadero as well a California and U.S. landmark thus it is the team’s sole focus to deliver the best possible product to the citizens of Atascadero. All interested and qualified contractors are encouraged and welcome to pursue pre‐qualification as a select bidder for this contract.

Prime Contractors interested in the project are encouraged to submit the pre‐qualification package as soon as possible. Once the select list of bidders has been determined, the Construction Manager in conjunction with the San Luis Obispo County Builders Exchange will host a “Meet and Greet” session where the prime contract bidders and local trade contractors will be able to socialize and interact with one another.
