On April 7, 2011, bids were received for the Atascadero Historic City Hall Project for Bid Package ACH-8, Repair & Rehabilitation. Five (5) bids were received and Diani Building Corporation out of Santa Maria, was the lowest responsive bidder. Dianis’ proposal has been reviewed and confirmed complete. Their proposal will be presented to Atascadero’s City Council on June 14, 2011 for approval as the awarded Prime Contractor for bid package ACH-8. If awarded, work will commence on July 11, 2011. Five (5) bids were received and the local firm, Wysong Construction, was the lowest responsive bidder. Wysong Constructions’ proposal has been reviewed and confirmed complete. Their proposal will be presented to Atascadero’s City Council on April 12, 2011 for approval as the awarded Prime Contractor for bid package ACH-5 for the Historic City Hall Project. Bid Package ACH-19 HVAC Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, and equipment for HVAC demolition of the existing HVAC equipment, ductwork and any control wiring and conduits, and installing a complete new HVAC system including but not limited to equipment, ductwork, piping, valves, fittings, instrumentation and controls, devices accessories and appurtenances necessary for completely finished and properly operating mechanical system integrated with all other building systems.

Bid Package ACH-11 Structural Steel and Miscellaneous Metals consists of structural steel, miscellaneous metals, hand railings, guardrails, steel embeds, steel backings, aluminum catwalk, ladders, steel supports and posts.

Bid Package ACH-16 Elevator Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, installation, hoisting, engineering and design for one (1) passenger elevator as described per specifications and project documents, including but limited to car, controls, control wiring, motors, openings, door operation and protection, floor sills and supports, guide rails, buffers, signals, push button panels, communications, card readers, CCTV, battery packs, and all other described associated provisions. Elevator Contractor shall also modify and enlarge the existing elevator shaft hoist way, pit, mechanical room, and machinery spaces.

Bid Package ACH-18, Plumbing, consists of demolition of the existing plumbing equipment, adjusting existing building piping and installing a complete code-complying plumbing system including but not limited to waste, vent, water, gas, backflow devices, floor drainage, trap primers, water heaters, and all other plumbing equipment and appurtenances as further described herein and indicated on the project documents and drawings.
