Start Smart Sports
The Start Smart Sports Development Program is a proven instructional program that prepares children (ages 3-5) for the world of organized sports without the threat of competition or the fear of getting hurt. Parents work together with their children in a supportive environment to learn basic skills such as throwing, catching, kicking, and batting. Held once a week for 6 weeks, with the exercises becoming increasingly difficult as the class progresses and children show improvement. Sports reviewed will be baseball/softball, basketball, soccer, and overall body movement.

Pickleball
The City of Atascadero is excited to announce another round of youth pickleball classes! Classes will take place in the Colony Park Community Center Gymnasium. We are excited to partner with the Atascadero Pickleball Club, who will be assisting in teaching the children the amazing game of pickleball!
