Per Health & Safety Code Section 34179, commencing July 1, 2018, all Oversight Boards in the County of San Luis Obispo were replaced by one Board managed by the County.

The purpose of the Oversight Board for Successor Agency to the Community Redevelopment Agency of Atascadero is to supervise the activities of the Successor Agency. The Oversight Board has a fiduciary responsibility to holders of Enforceable Obligations and taxing entities that benefit from distributions of property tax and other revenues.  The actions of the Board will in turn be overseen by the Director of the Department of Finance and may be subject to disapproval or modification.
