City of Atascadero Presents “Coffee with a Planner” on May 21 at Malibu Brew Coffee - Topic: Accessory Dwelling Units and Senate Bill 9

The City of Atascadero Community Development Department will host our “Coffee with a Planner” next week! These events are held on the 3rd Thursday of each month.

These informal sessions allow staff to hear from the community about a variety of topics including land use, zoning, city policy, and development projects. Each session highlights a specific topic, but our team will be happy to address any topic as time allows. The goal of these sessions is to allow for open dialog, and to provide a casual and accessible time for ongoing community input.

This month’s Coffee with a Planner will be Thursday, May 21st at 9:00 AM Malibu Brew Coffee. The topic will be Accessory Dwelling Units (ADUs) and Senate Bill 9 (SB 9). We will discuss where they are allowed and what the approval process is. We look forward to hearing about your potential projects!
