National Night Out 2026

The Atascadero Police Department invites you to join them for National Night Out on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Sunken Gardens in Downtown Atascadero (6505 El Camino Real).

National Night Out is an annual event to celebrate community, strengthen neighborhood partnerships, and have a whole lot of fun! Everyone is welcome, and EVERYTHING is FREE!

Bring the whole family and enjoy:

  • Meet-and-greets with Police Officers and specialty teams
  • K-9 demonstration and meet-and-greet
  • Fire demonstrations
  • Free raffle prizes
  • Meet the SLOSO Sheriff's Posse and their horses
  • Kids activities
  • Informational booths hosted by local businesses and community partners

Don't forget your bike! Bring your bicycle and join the Bike Parade, a fun way for kids (and kids at heart!) to be part of the celebration.
