2025 “Saturday in the Park” Summer Concert Series Kicks off with The Rockin’ Bs Band!

The City of Atascadero is incredibly pleased to kick off the 2025 “Saturdays in the Park” Summer Concert Series to be held nearly every Saturday evening throughout the summer! Our first concert will kick off on Saturday, June 28th at 6:30 pm at the Atascadero Lake Park Bandstand with Rockin’ Bs Band!

Rockin’ Bs Band brings four seasoned pros together to create a musical experience that is authentic & FUN. The sum of its parts, the Rockin' Bs Band has a diverse repertoire that is great for listening & dancing. Julie Beaver is a powerful country/blues violinist & vocalist who turns on the afterburners when it's time to rock. Kenny Blackwell is every bit as versatile as a musician & singer who demonstrates his tasteful guitar prowess anytime he is on the bandstand. Americana man Wally Barnick brings strong vocals & solid electric bass while drummer Art Dougall provides just the right amount of thump, having played with many prominent Central Coast bands for the past several decades. Music lovers of all ages will enjoy the wide range of styles, quality musicianship & good vibes that the Rockin' Bs Band members bring to the stage. August 9th      The JD Project (Rock, Blues & Country)
August 30th    End of Summer “Blues Bash!” 6-9 pm: The Cinders Blues Band (Blues) & Leslie Rogers & the Soul Shakers (R&B, Motown Soulful Blues)

All our concerts are outdoors at the Atascadero Lake Park Bandstand and free to attend! We recommend that you bring a low back chair and if you would like to purchase any food, bring your wallet!
