Atascadero Police Investigate Fatal Collision

On 9-27-25 at approximately 7:25 pm, the Atascadero Police Department responded to a report of a traffic collision in the 8300 block of El Camino Real. On arrival, officers determined two vehicles, a passenger car and a motorcycle, were involved. It was determined that the motorcyclist suffered fatal injuries. Four occupants from the passenger car were transported to Twin Cities Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The roadway is expected to remain closed while investigators continue to investigate and process the scene.
