City of Atascadero Announces "Wild Fields Lakeside Paddleboats," the New Paddleboat Operator, at Atascadero Lake Park! Official Grand Opening, June 14, 2025

Just in time for summer, the City of Atascadero is proud to announce that there is a new operator at Atascadero Lake Park, Wild Fields Brewhouse!  The official “Grand Opening” of the brand-new Paddleboat Shack, “Wild Fields Lakeside,” will be Saturday, June 14th, starting at 11 am!

This vibrant new venture marks the next chapter in Wild Fields’ journey to bring unforgettable lakeside experiences to the San Luis Obispo community. Wild Fields Lakeside will offer guests the chance to relax, explore, and enjoy the beauty of the lake aboard charming paddleboats, perfect for families, date days, and anyone looking to make the most of the great outdoors.

A special shoutout goes to owners Ryan & Jacque Fields, whose drive, business acumen, and unwavering dedication to building Wild Fields Brewhouse from the ground up have made this new experience possible. The Fields have a keen eye for opportunity and their tireless hustle continue to be the heartbeat of Wild Fields Lakeside.

Before the grand opening, Wild Fields invites the public to join them for another soft opening on June 7th and 8th from 11am – 7pm. It’s a great chance to meet the team, check out Wild Fields Lakeside, and experience the fun and friendly atmosphere that’s made Wild Fields a beloved local favorite.
