City of Atascadero Presents the 2025 “Saturday in the Park” Summer Concert Series End of Summer “Blues Bash!

The City of Atascadero is thrilled to announce the End of Summer “Blues Bash,” featuring TWO Bands to finish the 2025 “Saturdays in the Park” Summer Concert Series – The Cinders Blues Band and Leslie & the Soul Shakers! Mark your calendar for Saturday, August 30th from 6-9 pm at the Atascadero Lake Park Bandstand!

The Cinders Blues Band plays real blues music for grown-ups to which you can dance. Fronted by vocalist Brett Hoover, expect a wide variety of blues styles from Chicago to San Francisco from the '50s to the present, all with a serious dedication to the core of the music. Guitarist Dorian Michael, bassist Ken Hustad and drummer Dean Giles have been playing this music together for a couple of decades now. Improvisation, surprise, and ensemble interplay are the point of a good blues band, and The Cinders bring that to the stage whenever they play! Leslie and The Soul Shakers is a Central Coast Band that plays Soulful R&B, Motown, and Blues. Front Gal, Leslie Rogers is backed by a group of incredible local musicians, with a passion for playing and sharing. Paradise Shaved Ice will be there selling delicious concert grub, plus check out Wild Fields Lakeside for drinks and concessions!
