City of Atascadero Presents the 2026 “Saturday in the Park” Summer Concert Series with Garden Party!

The City of Atascadero is pleased to announce Garden Party to kick us off for the 2026 “Saturday in the Park” Summer Concert Series! Mark your calendar for Saturday, June 20th at 6:30 pm at the Atascadero Lake Park Bandstand!

Garden Party is led by Danny Grasseschi with an all-star group of amazing pro level players - Mark Paisley on keys, Rob Espinosa on guitar and vocals, Russ Kuster on bass and vocals and co-founding member Steve Hilstein on drums. Five seasoned musicians that have been playing in multiple bands since their teens. For over 12 consecutive years they’ve joined together as a band, playing music for friends in Robin's Garden in Cambria for their "Summer Nights" series. From this experience (and the Rick Nelson song) came the name "Garden Party". They all have a passion for live music. Together Garden Party plays covers of 60's and 70's folk rock music, with the goal of spreading peace, love and good vibrations through their authentic covers of some of the greatest hippie songs ever written!

Each evening during the concert series, there will be a food truck or two providing food for purchase. For June 20th, you can expect to see Huatulco Tacos and Paradise Shaved Ice!

August 29th | The Cinders Blues Band (Blues You Can Dance To)

All our concerts are outdoors at the Atascadero Lake Park Bandstand and free to attend! We recommend that you bring a low back chair and if you would like to purchase any food, bring your wallet!
