City of Atascadero Presents Summer Movies in the PARK! “MOANA 2” June 13th & “MUFASA” July 11th

The City of Atascadero announces the Summer Movies in the Park! Movies will show on Friday, June 13th, and July 11th. All movies are family-friendly and will begin about 15 minutes after sunset at Colony Park Softball Field #2, located at 5599 Traffic Way, next to the Colony Park Community Center in Atascadero. Beginning at 7 pm, there will be a variety of fun games and activities for the whole family, including chalk drawing, frisbee tossing, mini-soccer games, sack races, and more!

On Friday, June 13th, we are pleased to present “MOANA 2” (PG)!  Moana and Maui reunite for an expansive new voyage alongside a crew of unlikely seafarers. After receiving an unexpected call from her wayfinding ancestors, Moana must journey to the far seas of Oceania and into dangerous, long-lost waters for an adventure unlike anything she’s ever faced.

The second movie, “MUFASA” (PG) will be featured on Friday, July 11th! Lost and alone, orphaned cub Mufasa meets a sympathetic lion named Taka, the heir to a royal bloodline. This meeting sets in motion an expansive journey of an extraordinary group of misfits searching for their destinies.
