Beginning Tuesday, May 13th and continuing through Thursday, May 15th, travelers on northbound US 101 will encounter a temporary closure of the San Ramon Road off-ramp. This closure is due to City roadway paving work on El Camino Real at the intersection with the San Ramon off-ramp. The northbound US 101 on-ramp at this location will remain open during this work. In addition, El Camino Real will remain open at the intersection but will be reduced to one lane with flaggers. Motorists using El Camino Real should expect significant delays.
Motorists are encouraged to use the detour at the northbound Highway 101 Del Rio Road off-ramp. Message and directional signs will be posted to guide motorists along the temporary detour routes. Drivers are encouraged to pay close attention to traffic signage and plan for traffic delays near construction areas. The roadway work is part of the Lift Station #13 and Force Main Sewer Project.
Businesses in this area will remain open and accessible during the road work. The community is encouraged to stay informed about ongoing project updates and traffic advisories by following the City on Social Media Platforms: Facebook, Instagram, and X and visiting www.atascadero.org/project/liftstation13. Community members can also sign up for construction news and alerts at Atascadero.org/News-List.
