CONSTRUCTION UPDATES 


Weeks of 4/14/25 - 5/02/25: Underground sewer work on El Camino between Santa Cruz Road and 101 ramps.

• Minor work also continues on-site. 

 

 

Construction schedules are subject to change based on staffing, supplies, and weather conditions.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Project Overview

This project involves replacing Wastewater Lift Station #13 and constructing approximately 2 miles of force main pipe between El Camino Real and Orillas Way below Santa Cruz Road and Traffic Way.

This project includes the Traffic Way Pavement Rehabilitation - North Project, which includes pavement rehabilitation for approximately 1.1 miles of Traffic Way between Carrizo Road and Chico Road.

Design Development:  

  • June 2021 – September 2021 

Engineering Design:  

  • October 2021 – September 2023 

Construction:  

  • Spring 2024 – Spring 2025 

Project Cost and Funding Sources:

  • Budget $8,735,000  
  • Funded by:
    • Wastewater Funds: FY2023-25 Budget ($7,435,000)
    • Road Repair and Accountability Act Funds: FY2023-25 Budget ($800,000)
    • Road Repair and Accountability Act Funds: Additional Funding ($500,000)
