The Charles Paddock Zoo announces ZOO BOO! Two Nights ~ Double the options!
The City of Atascadero and the Charles Paddock Zoo are excited to announce ZOO BOO! This fun annual event will now be available two nights vs. just one! 2024 Colony Day Parade & Festival: Notice of Road Closures and The ECR Project Updates
The City of Atascadero is excited to celebrate the 51st Annual Colony Days Parade & Festival on Saturday, Oct. 5. The parade will kick off at 10 a.m., and start behind City Hall on Lewis Avenue, continue down Capistrano, turn onto CA-41 briefly, then northbound on El Camino Real, turning on West Mall to City Hall. The City of Atascadero and the Atascadero Mutual Water Company (AMWC) are working together on the 28th Annual Atascadero Creek and River Cleanup Day to be held on Saturday, September 28th from 9 am until 12 noon and we are looking for volunteers like we do each year! Atascadero Fire & Emergency Services Sees Increase in Fire Activity
Atascadero Fire & Emergency Services has seen an increase in fire activity recently. Over the last 24 hours there have been two significant fire incidents in the jurisdiction. With fire season at its peak and resources being utilized statewide, it is vital for our community to be fire safe. City of Atascadero Continues Improving Local Road Quality With F-14 Funds
The City of Atascadero continues putting F-14 funds to work, recently awarding the 2024 Measure F-14 Pavement Rehabilitation Project to CenCal Construction and the 2024 F-14 Pavement Resurfacing Project contract to Souza Construction. These two projects will rehabilitate or resurface approximately 5.1 centerline miles (10.2 lane miles) of critical roadway segments identified with Atascadero’s Pavement Management Program.
