The City of Atascadero is proud to announce a significant improvement in its Insurance Services Office (ISO) Public Protection Classification (PPC) rating. Effective May 1, 2026, Atascadero’s PPC will improve from Class 03/3X to Class 02/2X, reflecting the community’s ongoing commitment to fire protection and risk reduction. Chipping Program Returns to Atascadero Registration Open Now!
The San Luis Obispo County Fire Safe Council has awarded Atascadero Fire & Emergency Services grant funds for hazardous fuel reduction for 2026.
