The City of Atascadero is assessing road damage as a result of yesterday’s storm and there are a couple areas to be aware of along with the detours in place. A landslide occurred late afternoon on March 10th, and is covering the 13800 block of Los Altos Road, which is roughly halfway between Hwy. 41 and San Marcos Road. The City of Atascadero is advising all residents to take extra precautions during the next 24 hours as a major storm event makes its way to the Central Coast. We encourage residents to avoid all non-essential travel if possible through early afternoon tomorrow. City of Atascadero Announces Retirement of City Manager, Rachelle Rickard
After serving for 26 years at the City of Atascadero with the last ten years as the City Manager, Rachelle Rickard has announced that she will retire in July of this year. As a graduate of California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, Rachelle Rickard moved to Atascadero in 1989 and has served the City since February 28, 1997. Adult Basketball League Spring 2023 Team Registrations - Now Open!
It's time for Spring Adult Basketball! We are ready to get the Adult Basketball League back in the gym at the Colony Park Community Center for our traditional Spring Time Season! The league will run from March 12th – June 4th allowing 8 regular season games and ending with an End-of-Season Tournament the weekend of June 3rd and 4th.
